Engr. Ojo, Peter Odesanmi was born in 11th October, 1961 at Igbole-Ekiti, Ido-Osi Local Government Area, Ekiti State, Nigeria. He attended Community Primary School, Igbole-Ekiti between 1968 and 1974. He proceeded to Notre Dame College, Usi-Ekiti between 1976 and 1081. He gained admission into The Polytechnic, Owo (Now Rufus Giwa Polytechnic) in 1982 and graduated in 1984 with National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with the grade of upper credit. He later gained direct admission to the Nigerian Presigious University, University of Benin in 1986 and graduated in 1989 with honours degree in Mechanical Engineering. He later proceeded to pursue his post graduate degree in the same university in year 2004 where he graduated with distinction and the best student department. He was able to finish the programme within a single session and graduated with a Master Degree in Design and Manufacturing option. In year 2008, he sat for his professional examinations with Nigerian Society of Engineers and Council of Registered Engineering of Nigerian and passed both at once.

Engr. Ojo, P.O. had worked in several places, some of which include Odua'a Textile Industry, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria as a training Engineer in 1983, Ministry of Works and Transport, Akure, Ondo State of Nigeria, in 1987 as training engineer, Bendel Transport Company (Bendel Line) in 1988 as training engineer; Zing Local Government Secretarian Zing, Gongola State, Nigeria (Now Taraba State) as a Mechanical Engineer in works Department in 1989 to 1990, as Technical instructor at Government Secondary School, Zing Gongola State, Nigeria (Now Taraba State) in 1991 and later joined Ondo State Polytechnic, Owo (Now Rufus Giwa Polytechnic) in 12th November, 1991 as an assistant of Mechanical Engineering. He gradually rose to the Apex of his career as a Chief Lecturer in October, 1st 2011.
